Portable, real-time x-ray scanning system

ThreatScan-LS1 is a lightweight, portable, battery powered x-ray scanning system designed in co-operation with first responders and EOD teams to meet the needs of field operatives such as EOD teams, counter surveillance, customs, vehicle and security personnel.
The system is quick and simple to deploy and produces high quality real-time x-ray images for rapid and accurate decision making. It includes a large resilient detector panel, a robust, portable x-ray generator, a laptop imaging station plus accessories and ThreatSpect software.
The slim, large imaging area (600mm x 460mm) panel is placed behind the target with the generator in front. It is activated from the laptop imaging station and enables the operator to scan bags and packages in a single scan that can penetrate up to 34mm steel at 120kV whilst creating real-time sub-millimetre resolution images. The system can produce scans from just 3mm above floor level.
A range of sophisticated image processing functions, including materials discrimination, pan, zoom, DeepFocus, 3D Emboss, measurement and annotation, coupled with high quality images enable the operator to interpret the image quickly and accurately.
The software can also send the image to a remote command centre and save in JPEG and other common file formats.
