FlatScan-POD

FlatScan-POD is used in conjunction with FlatScan-TPXi as a high resolution mobile baggage scanning system.

Mobile for easy relocation

The mobile cabinet system can be readily transported to different locations for random baggage screening.

FlatScan-TPXi  is slotted into the POD to enable safe and reliable x-ray imaging of bags. If a suspect item is discovered elsewhere at the location the FlatScan-TPXi system can be removed from the POD and deployed as a portable inspection system

Sub-milimeter resolution baggage scanning

Using FlatScan-TPXi the POD produces higher resolution images than conventional baggage scanners, together with powerful image processing functions  this enables the operator to interpret the image  quickly and accurately.

POD can be deployed where conventional baggage scanners are not suitable

FlatScan-POD has a smaller footprint than conventional baggage scanners,  and  does not require  mains electricity, allowing it to be deployed in locations unsuitable for conventional baggage scanners.

FlatScan-POD is particularly suitable for use at events and mass transit locations such as stadia, concourses, rail, coach, metro and underground stations.
